HSFB: Five Things I Think I Know From Week 6

We’re at the midpoint of the high school football season, which means the stakes are higher from here on out. It also means we’re starting to get enough of a sample size to really have a feel for who can contend for region titles – or more – as we head into October.

HS XC: HHIHS Girls, Bluffton Boys Claim County Crown

The Hilton Head Island High School girls swept the top five places in a dominant performance and Bluffton High School’s boys placed five runners in the top nine to claim the team titles at the Beaufort County Cross Country Championships on Saturday.

HSFB: Beaufort Academy 55, Calhoun Academy 18

Deshawn Epps accounted for 365 total yards and scored six touchdowns and Beaufort Academy turned in a dominant defensive effort in a 55-18 win over visiting Calhoun Academy.

HS Volleyball: BA Finishes Perfect Week With Win Over JP2

The Hilton Head Prep girls tennis team picked up two wins this week, beating Beaufort Academy 5-4 on Monday and defeating Colleton Prep 8-1 on Tuesday.
