The Beaufort Academy volleyball team capped a perfect week with a victory over John Paul II on Thursday, winning 3-1 (25-21, 21-25, 25-15, 25-20).
The Eagles swept Charleston Collegiate and Colleton Prep earlier in the week before winning a hard-fought match against the Golden Eagles.
Ayannah Thompson had a team-high nine kills, Marissa Majorkiewicz added six kills and a team-best 14 digs, and Darby O’Donnell posted 15 assists and 11 digs to lead John Paul II.
Both teams are back in action Monday, as BA plays at Charleston Collegiate and JP2 hosts Patrick Henry.
