Hilton Head Prep sailing claimed local bragging rights Saturday, winning a five-team regatta hosted by the South Carolina Yacht Club under difficult sailing conditions. HHP’s JV squad finished fourth, followed by Hilton Head Christian Academy. Will Tebrake and Escher Lucier were the winning skippers for HHP, with crew Aiden Darr, Lila Ferne, and Dominic Peppitone helping the Dolphins claim the top spot.
Hilton Head Prep sailed to an impressive second-place finish and John Paul II cracked the top 10 in the 25-team open division, and the Dolphins finished third in the South Atlantic Interscholastic Sailing Association’s North Points regatta Saturday at Jordan Lake in Raleigh.
