YOUTH BSB: Bluffton American ousts Colleton, stays perfect in Coach Pitch

No comeback was necessary this time for the Bluffton American AA All-Stars, who jumped out to an early lead and cruised to a 14-6 win over Colleton County on Monday to advance to the championship game of the Dixie Youth Baseball AA Coach Pitch (7-8) district tournament in Walterboro. 

YOUTH BSB: Bluffton American finishes perfect run through Minors district tourney

Bluffton American’s Dixie Youth Minors squad claimed district baseball supremacy at Oscar Frazier Park on Sunday, defeating Hilton Head 15-5 before rallying past Bluffton National 15-7 to capture the Minors (9-10) District 8 title and punch its ticket to the state tournament.

Hilton Head bounced back with a 13-1 victory to eliminate Colleton County, and Bluffton American’s offense erupted en route to a 26-6 win over Bluffton National on Saturday in the Dixie Youth Minors (9-10) District 8 tournament at Bluffton’s Oscar Frazier Park.
