HSXC: Seahawk girls fall one point short of state title, MR’s Arroyo 2nd

Hilton Head High’s girls came up one point short of a Class 4A cross country title on Thursday in Columbia, losing by the narrowest of margins to new Region 7-4A rival James Island at the SCHSL Cross Country Championships at Sandhill Research Center.

HSXC: BHS boys, HHIHS girls lead local state qualifiers

Beaufort High’s boys and Hilton Head High’s girls won their races, and three other boys teams and two additional girls teams from the Lowco also qualified for the SCHSL Class 4A Cross Country Championships at the state qualifying races Friday in Chapin.
