The top 27 players – 11 first-team selections and 16 honorable mentions – form the inaugural All-Lowco Girls Soccer Team.

Talent Abounds On Inaugural All-Lowco Boys Soccer Team

It was a banner year for high school boys soccer in the Lowcountry, with two area teams — Hilton Head Christian Academy and Beaufort Academy — capturing state championships, two more among the top teams in Class 3A (Bluffton and May River), and Hilton Head High making a deep run in the Class 4A playoffs. All that team success was built upon tremendous individual performances, making it all the more difficult to narrow down the top players in the area.

The Lowcountry had its share of standout pitchers on high school diamonds this season, including one who led her team to the brink of a state title, but we also had some hitters who could make even the strongest pitchers wary of leaving one over the plate. We’ve compiled a list of 22 of the area’s best softball players — 11 on the first team and 11 honorable mention — and hereby present the inaugural All-Lowco Softball Team.
