De’Shaun Epps accounted for 365 total yards and scored six touchdowns and Beaufort Academy turned in a dominant defensive effort in a 55-18 win over visiting Calhoun Academy.
Epps rushed for 293 yards and four touchdowns on 12 carries and had two receptions for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Jaxon Spratling added 91 yards on eight carries, Max Emerson rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on five carries, and Will Tumlin added a rushing score.
Dawson Coleman was 2-for-4 for 72 yards and two TDs.
Edward McCormick led the Eagles with 21 tackles, while Spratling added 11 and Daniel Richards had eight, including four behind the line of scrimmage. Charlie Weeden returned an interception 65 yards for a score.
BA (3-2) has won three straight heading into a region matchup at Faith Christian next week.
