John Paul II’s girls avenged an earlier loss with a 1-0 victory at Hilton Head Christian Academy on Monday.
Brianna Riley scored the lone goal in the 15th minute with a chip over the HHCA keeper’s head, and Abby Quinty made the lead stand up with a strong effort in goal.
The Golden Warriors (6-4) host Holy Trinity for a key region match at 4 p.m. Thursday. The Eagles (4-5-2) host Palmetto Christian at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
