In just her freshman year of college, Tori Herman has earned herself a spot on the national stage. The Kentucky sensation and former Hilton Head Seahawk rewrote the Wildcat record books Saturday, setting a program-best mark in the 1500 meters and qualifying for the NCAA Championships in June.
Led by stellar All-American performances from Iyana McKeever and Shamar Deacon, the USCB men’s and women’s outdoor track teams impressed at the NAIA Championships from Wednesday through Friday at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
