The Lowco family is trying to squeeze in Spring Break before the action really heats up at the 2022 RBC Heritage presented by Boeing, so we’re playing catchup on getting you the latest local sports news from Beaufort, Jasper and Colleton counties, but here’s another edition of Last Night in the Lowco — filmed at Universal Studios! — to fill you in on some of the highlights from around the area over the weekend.

It was a busy Monday night of high school sports in the LowcoSports world — busy enough to keep us hopping for two rainy days rounding up all the results, but this edition of Last Night in the Lowco will get you all caught up for Thursday’s action, assuming the weather cooperates.
This Last Night in the Lowco concept is a work in progress, and it doesn’t mesh well when Mr. Lowco slips off to coach travel baseball all weekend, but we’ll work it out. In the meantime, here’s an overdue edition of Last Night to catch you up on (almost) everything that happened this weekend. We’ll pick up the pieces in Tuesday’s edition.
It’s a trimmed down version of Last Night in the Lowco, thanks to a little cleansing soak from Mother Nature. Thank goodness for those new turf fields, though, right? Still waiting at May River, but those came in handy at Beaufort High, Bluffton and Hilton Head High last night. It was a beautiful night for soccer or lacrosse on the turf, especially if you’re a Seahawk fan.
