The Hilton Head Island High School girls finished third to lead the local contingent of cross county teams at the Lowcountry Invitational on Saturday in Johns Island.
Isabel Muehleman (19:04) led the way for the Seahawk girls with a fourth-place finish, as all five scoring runners for HHIHS placed in the top 20. The Seahawks, who were without one of their top runners in Tori Herman, finished with 62 points, trailing only Riverside (44) and Daniel (55).
Hilton Head High’s top-ranked boys were without top runner Sam Gilman and ran only five runners, finishing eighth overall. Ryan Moosbrugger (16:04) led the Seahawks with a fourth-place finish.
