JPII’s girls continued their strong play with a 67-41 win over Hilton Head Prep behind a monster night from Brady Mahoney, who collected 21 points and 21 rebounds along with three blocked shots in a dominant effort. Courtney Campbell scored 28 for Prep.
The Dolphins earned a split with a 49-39 victory in the boys game as big man Jason Britschge racked up 24 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks and Ben Frey added 17 points and seven steals to lead Prep to a region win.
In other SCISA action, Patrick Henry swept a pair at Holy Trinity, while the Colleton Prep girls and Thomas Heyward boys salvaged a split.

The Bluffton girls showed they are still the class of Region 7-4A. Tacoya Heyward collected 22 points, nine assists, and nine steals, and Amirah Brown and Ja’laina Mosley combined for 27 points and 16 rebounds in a 59-50 win – the 11th in a row for the Bobcats.
Bluffton’s boys gave a strong defensive effort in the first quarter before the Trojans started clicking at the offensive end and pulled away for a convincing win.
Elsewhere in Region 7-4A, May River’s girls and Colleton County’s boys earned a split, and Lucy Beckham swept visiting Hilton Head.
Beaufort’s girls picked up a big region win at North Charleston, but the Eagles dropped the boys game, while Ridgeland-Hardeeville, Whale Branch, and Bridges Prep all earned sweeps.
