The blueprint for Team Lowco has been laid out, and Beaufort High head coach Bryce Lybrand has assembled a blue-collar squad that is hungry to reclaim the Blitz Border Bowl title for the Palmetto State.
WSAV has unveiled the rosters for the fourth Blitz Border Bowl all-star game, which will pit the top high school senior football players from the Lowco against their counterparts from the Coastal Empire of Georgia. The game is set for a noon kickoff on Jan. 15 at Savannah’s Memorial Stadium, and Team Lowco is looking to even the ledger at two wins apiece.
Lybrand and Lowco will employ a roster that is loaded with size up front and speed and power in the backfield on offense and stacked with playmakers at every level on defense. The stars from Savannah and beyond will surely be just as talented, though, so it figures to be a spectacular exhibition between the best of the Lowco and the Coastal Empire.
