After a worldwide pandemic brought the 2020 high school girls soccer season to a grinding halt, 2021 reminded us of what we missed in the Lowco — an abundance of talent.
In addition to SCISA state titles for Hilton Head Christian Academy and Holy Trinity Classical Christian School, the Lowco boasted several powerhouse programs in the ultra-competitive Region 7-4A, as well as a Hilton Head Prep juggernaut that went 15-3 and reached the SCISA 3A semifinals — and took down cross-island rival Hilton Head High, which had a fantastic playoff run of its own, ending in the Class 4A Lower State finals.
Additionally, there were standout individual performances from players throughout Beaufort, Jasper, and Colleton counties, and we honor the area’s top high school stars with the 2021 All-Lowco Girls Soccer Team presented by Callen Insurance Services.
