HSFB: Lowco First Down — SCHSL Week 3 / SCISA Week 7

We’ll have full recaps of all the high school football action from around the Lowco, as well as multimedia content throughout the weekend, but here’s your first look at SCHSL Week 3 and SCISA Week 7.

Beaufort High 37, May River 14: The Eagles took control with two touchdowns in the final minute of the first half and overpowered the Sharks in a pivotal Region 7-4A matchup.

Hilton Head High 35, Bluffton 12: The Seahawks finally kicked off their season, and they did it in style with a big win in the 2020 edition of the Bridge Bowl.

Whale Branch 21, Baptist Hill 20: The Warriors scored the winning touchdown as time expired to escape Hollywood with a huge win over the only other unbeaten team in Region 7-1A.

Bishop England 21, Battery Creek 7: The Dolphins battled the Bishops but couldn’t muster enough on offense to pull off the home upset.

Hilton Head Christian Academy 27, Bethesda Academy 21 (OT): After being shut out in the first half, the Eagles roared back to force overtime and grind out a tough road win to remain undefeated.

Thomas Heyward 61, Colleton Prep 0: The Rebels rolled to their sixth straight win with a dominant performance against the War Hawks.

John Paul II 35, Northwood Academy 12: The Golden Warriors earned their first region win with a convincing victory on the road. 

Orangeburg Prep 38, Hilton Head Prep 23: The visiting Indians pulled away in the second half to hand the Dolphins their fourth straight defeat.
