HSXC: Muehleman Leads Seahawk Girls At Coaches Classic

Hilton Head High’s girls finished 10th among 28 teams in the International Division of the Coaches Classic on Saturday in Columbia.

Isabel Muehleman led the Seahawks with a sixth-place finish in the 5K with a time of 19:40, while Sarah Cooke (20:51) and Sarah Neville (20:52) also had strong showings.

May River led the local contingent in the Championship Division, finishing 11th. Victoria Sosa (21:20) and Emma Peluso (21:31) led the Sharks in 23rd and 27th, respectively. Beaufort High’s Shannon Smith finished fifth with a time of 20:16.
