Game On: Area HSFB Teams Ready To Return To Action After Storm

Hurricane Irma won’t claim another week of the area high school football schedule.

It’s “game on” for local teams this weekend, with only a couple of small tweaks to the schedule to keep things on track.

John Paul II’s game, originally scheduled for Thursday night in Hardeeville, will be played at 7 p.m. Saturday at Dorchester Academy, and Battery Creek will host Whale Branch at 11 a.m. Saturday. All other games involving local teams will be played Friday night as scheduled.

Friday’s games

Beaufort High at May River, 7:30 p.m.

Bluffton at Hilton Head Island, 7:30 p.m.

Colleton County at Ridgeland-Hardeeville, 7:30 p.m.

Hilton Head Christian Academy at Colleton Prep, 7:30 p.m.

Hilton Head Prep at Palmetto Christian, 7:30 p.m.

Beaufort Academy at Northside Christian, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday’s games

Whale Branch at Battery Creek, 11 a.m.

John Paul II at Dorchester Academy, 7 p.m.
