Former HHIHS Volleyball Star Miller Earns MEAC Weekly Honor

Former Hilton Head Island High School volleyball star Da’Nesha Miller was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday.

Miller, a freshman right-side hitter, averaged 2.33 kills, 2.83 digs and 0.67 blocks per set for North Carolina Central to earn a spot on the All-Tournament team at the Elon University Phoenix Classic over the weekend.

Miller registered her second double-double of the season against Charleston Southern with 11 kills and 15 digs, and she leads the Eagles with 2.35 points per set through her first nine collegiate matches.
