But this group hasn’t won a ring together, and that’s plenty of motivation for the Rebels to treat their fourth straight state championship game like it’s the biggest one they’ve ever played.

HSFB: Eagles have one last test to pass to run back perfect season

Every time Hilton Head Christian Academy has faced resistance on the football field, the Eagles find a way to power though. On Saturday, one more challenge stands between HHCA and a second straight perfect season, as the Eagles look to defend their SCISA 2A title when they face upstart Williamsburg Academy at 5 p.m. at Charleston Southern University. 

HSVB: Trio of Seahawk stars earn statewide honors

Makenna Mason was named the Class 4A Player of the Year and joined on the Class 4A All-State team by teammate Ady O’Grady, while seniors O’Grady and Kenzie Ryan were invited to play in the SCHSL Class 4A/5A Volleyball All-Star match on Saturday. 

HSGBB: HHCA sails past St. Vincent’s in season opener

The high school basketball season tipped off in the Lowco on Thursday, as the three-time defending SCISA 2A champion Hilton Head Christian Academy girls opened their campaign with a 53-41 road win over St. Vincent’s Academy in Savannah.
