The competition for the top spots in our high school football pick ‘em contest is heating up, but even if you’ve missed out on the first three weeks you can join now and still be in the running for season-long prizes!
Things went mostly according to the script in Week 2, so we saw high scores almost across the board, including two perfect submissions from Beaufort Academy star Jaxen Porter and May River soccer coach (and Lowco FC co-host) Misaél Garzón, but Porter won the tiebreaker, picking Thomas Heyward (won by 42) to have the largest margin of victory while Misa went with Wade Hampton (won by 3). That makes Porter the first person in LowcoSports history to be the Player of the Week one week and win the Pick ‘Em the next. Certified fun fact.
We’re keeping score all season and giving away some Lowco swag to the weekly and season-long winners, plus a bonus prize for anyone who beats Team Lowco — but good luck, because our own Wes Kerr is setting the pace along with Coach Misa and former Hilton Head Seahawks standout Connor Schmitz.
