May River lacrosse was all smiles on Saint Patrick’s Day, pounding Beaufort High on the road 17-5 behind a school-record nine assists from Brooks van Esselstyn.The Sharks jumped out to a commanding 9-1 lead at the end of the first quarter before building the advantage to 13-1 at halftime. May River was ferocious on the defensive end, recording 17 caused turnovers on the night.
