A squad made up of players from high school throughout the Lowco captured a tournament title this weekend, as Low Country Volleyball Club’s 17 National team went undefeated to win the Palmetto Volleyball Association’s January Jam in Charleston on Saturday and Sunday.
Boasting a roster that included standouts from six area schools, the LCVC team went 6-0 in the tournament, winning all 12 sets played to finish atop the 16-team field.
The team includes Bluffton High’s Siobhan Rogers, Cristina Trice, and Faith Paxton; May River’s Reaghan Evans and Mallory Gilmore; Hilton Head High’s Isabella Terramoccia and Leah Jackson; John Paul II’s Emily O’Sullivan; Hilton Head Christian Academy’s Abby Peduzzi; and Patrick Henry’s Abigail Croft.
The team’s next action will be at the Southern Classic in Rock Hill on Jan. 22-23.
