John Paul II boys basketball took the court for the first time in nearly a month and came away with a 66-25 home win over Colleton Prep to open SCISA Region 4 play Monday night.
The Golden Warriors showed little rust in their first game since Dec. 13, controlling the game from the start and coasting to a big win.
Mark Knight led JPII with 18 points, nine rebounds, and five steals, while Jackson Ogden added 17 points, three steals, and three assists, and Christian Tilton had 10 points and six rebounds.
The girls game was postponed due to COVID-19 protocols.
JPII (5-1, 1-0) hosts Bridges Prep at 6 p.m. Wednesday. CPA (0-10, 0-3) hosts Beaufort Academy for a region matchup Tuesday.
