HS GSOC: Tapia tallies two goals as Seahawks blank Bobcats

Andrea Tapia scored two goals, and Hilton Head High girls soccer blanked rival Bluffton 3-0 at home Tuesday.

The Seahawks struck early in the contest, as Kristen Fielding delivered a beauty to the top shelf in the fourth minute. Hilton Head continued to control the play and added another goal in the 35th minute. After a corner kick was delivered to the goalmouth, the ball bounced around to the edge of the box where Tapia sizzled a line drive into the net. The freshman did it again in the 66th minute, booting a deep ball off the Bobcat goalkeeper and in to make it 3-0.
