HS BSOC: Seahawks shut out previously unbeaten Bobcats

Hilton Head High boys soccer made a major statement with a 6-0 rout of rival Bluffton on Friday at The Nest.

The Seahawks controlled the game throughout and led 2-0 at halftime before adding four goals in the second half against a Bobcats team that had not allowed a goal in its first three games.

Geo Lopez and Dilan Manrique each found the net twice, and Kyle Parrella and Josh Ramirez each added a goal for the Seahawks.

Danny Claudio recorded the clean sheet for HHIHS.

The Seahawks (4-1, 1-0) host Beaufort High for another Region 7-4A matchup Friday. 

The Bobcats (3-1, 1-1) host crosstown rival May River on Tuesday.
