Hilton Head High girls lacrosse continued its tremendous defensive play Monday, defeating Beaufort High 10-4 on the road for the Seahawks’ third straight win.
Bailey Olive shined on the offensive end, scoring four goals and adding an assist for five points while collecting four ground balls. Midfielder Brooke Simons impressed with two goals and a team-leading six ground balls, Anna Ferrebee notched a hat-trick, and Sharon Urbina netted a goal. Megan Rickenbach delivered another standout performance in net with 10 saves.
“We controlled the game from the start and had a well-balanced offense,” HHIHS head coach Kara Cooke said. “The defense did a great job taking away their scoring opportunities.”
Amyah Todd led the Eagles with a pair of goals, while Holland Perryman and Annabelle Hooper tallied one each. Morgan Wright stopped 15 shots in goal, and the duo of Shelby Holstein and Talia Moultrie put up strong efforts on defense.
