Beaufort High girls lacrosse picked up another big region win Thursday with a 6-5 overtime triumph at Bluffton.
Amyah Todd scored three goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to lead the Eagles, while Holland Perryman, Annabelle Hooper, and Sophia Pellegrino each scored once.
Captains Lilly Dangerfield and Sydney Lashley anchored a strong Beaufort defense, and goalie Morgan Wright stopped 12 of 17 shots.
The Bobcats took an early lead and held a 3-2 advantage at halftime, before Beaufort shifted the momentum with two quick goals in the third quarter to take the lead. Bluffton answered with two of its own to surge back ahead, but the Eagles were able to pull even and force overtime.
In the extra period, Lillian Carr controlled the draw for Beaufort, and Todd weaved her way through traffic before burying her third goal of the night to clinch it.
The Eagles (3-1) host Hilton Head High for another region matchup Monday.
The Bobcats (2-2) travel to Chapin for a non-region contest Monday.
