HS BSOC: Bell’s hat trick leads Bucs to big win over Warriors

Bridges Prep boys soccer put on a dominant performance in a 9-1 win Thursday at Whale Branch in both teams’ season openers.

Jaden Bell scored a hat trick to lead the way for the Buccaneers. Braden Beck added two goals and an assist, and Zaire Ivison and Timothy English each scored twice for Bridges, while Isaiah Cruz had two assists.

Henry Tome broke through for the Warriors in the second half, spoiling the clean sheet for Bucs keeper Darick Fisher, who made four saves.

Bridges (1-0) plays a region match Tuesday at Royal Live Oaks. 

Whale Branch (0-1) hosts St. John’s for a region match Thursday.
