Hilton Head High swept the Region 7-4A swimming titles on Thursday at Island Rec Center.
The Seahawk girls racked up 130 points to easily outpace runner-up Bluffton (47) and third-place Beaufort High (38). The HHIHS boys finished with 104 points, while Beaufort High (85) was second and Bluffton (72) was third.
Mia Sinkiewicz won two events and the Seahawks swept the relays in a dominant performance. Isabella Pozos, Skylar Bruner, and Morgan Powell each won one event for HHIHS, while Beaufort High’s Lily Bostwick and Bluffton’s Tia Reed each captured one event.
On the boys’ side, Cohen Bruner and Tommy Hughson each won two events and the Seahawks won the 200 and 400 freestyle relays. Beaufort’s Samuel Marrero also won two events, as did teammate James Stone, and the Eagles captured the 200 medley relay. Bluffton’s Sam Schwabauer also won one event.
