Hilton Head High, Beaufort High, and Bluffton all qualified for the Class 4A boys golf state meet with top-eight finishes at the Lower State qualifier Monday at Hackler Golf Course in Conway.
The Seahawks finished in fourth place with a team score of 319, followed closely by the Eagles (320) in fifth and the Bobcats (336) in seventh.
Beaufort’s Jerry Bruns shot 1-over-par 73 to tie for second, while Hilton Head’s Nolan Hawkins (76) tied for sixth, and Bluffton’s Wayne Toon (78) tied for 10th.
Hilton Head High will host the Class 4A state championship Monday and Tuesday at Port Royal Plantation’s Barony Golf Course.
