HS Lax: Seahawk Girls Earn Season Split With Bobcats

Hilton Head High edged rival Bluffton High 8-5 on Wednesday to split the two-game season series with the Bobcats. 

Hilton Head High opened a 7-4 halftime lead and played outstanding defense in the second half, holding Bluffton to one goal to seal the victory. Emma Grace Walters scored four goals, Lexi Locker added three, and Victoria Glover had one for the Seahawks. 

Hilton Head High’s Marlee Brummer was stellar in goal, recording 11 saves. 

The Bobcats host Oceanside Collegiate Academy at noon Saturday, while the Seahawks (6-4, 2-1) host RIchmond Hill at 6 p.m. Friday.
