The May River High School girls swim team swept county rivals Bluffton High School and Beaufort High School in a double-dual meet Wednesday.
The Sharks beat the Bobcats 109-54 and defeated the Eagles 116-48.
The competition was much more heated on the boys side, as the three teams split their round robin. May River edged Bluffton 81-67 but lost 82-76 to Beaufort, while the Bobcats claimed an 80-79 win over the Eagles with a win in the 400 free relay in the final event.
All three teams are back in action Tuesday, with Bluffton and May River swimming against Berkeley in a double-dual at the Bluffton Indoor Pool and Beaufort High hosting Beaufort Academy and Battery Creek.
