Holy Trinity swept the Class 2A team titles and Daniel Reedy capped off his career with an individual crown, and Cross Schools captured the Class 1A girls title at the SCISA Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Heathwood Hall in Columbia.
The Hilton Head Prep and Cross boys snagged runner-up finishes in Class 3A and Class 1A, and 22 Lowco runners collected top-10 finishes across six races.

2A BOYS
Holy Trinity won the team title with a dominant showing, totaling 26 points to easily outpace St. John’s Christian (61) and Beaufort Academy (82).
Daniel Reedy ran a 5K time of 18:21 to win the individual title and lead a quartet of Mighty Lions who finished in the top six overall. Fellow seniors Sam Moore (19:05) and Caleb Stone (19:12) were third and fourth with freshman William Cochrane (19:53) in sixth.
Eighth-grader Titus Weaver (20:03) led Beaufort Academy in eighth place with senior Brock Bekemeyer (20:25) and freshman Cohen Weaver (20:29) in 10th and 11th. Sophomores Preston Gardner (20:41) and Joshua Mark (21:14) finished 12th and 14th for the Mighty Lions.

2A GIRLS
Holy Trinity (30) boasted three of the top four finishers to cruise to the title, as Conway Christian (45) and Calhoun Academy (47) were the only other teams to field full squads.
Calhoun’s Gabby Jourdain (20:26) won the individual title with a trio of Mighty Lions right behind her in sophomore Bryant Salley (21:54), and eighth-graders Peyton Kaylor (22:11) and AnnaCate Gray (23:30).

1A GIRLS
Cross Schools cruised to the crown on the strength of six straight Stingrays who crossed the line from third through eighth place — and none of them is older than a freshman. The Stingrays totaled 25 points to easily outpace Richard Winn Academy (48), which boasted the top two finishers in Hayden Brahnam (20:34) and Ileanna Derrick (21:57).
Freshman Elizabeth Von Maur (22:06) finished third to lead Cross, with eighth-grader Aria Mattis (22:11), seventh-grader Gretchen Holmes (22:41), freshman Maggie Drury (22:45), seventh-grader Reese Monteiro (22:52), and eighth-grader India Collins (22:56) right behind.

3A BOYS
Hilton Head Prep (92) raced to a runner-up finish behind Spartanburg Day (69) to lead a strong showing from the Lowco contingent, as John Paul II (102) finished third, and HHCA (159) was sixth.
HHCA’s Noah Kaufman (17:08) placed third overall, just ahead of JPII’s Sebastian Frickel (17:19) in fourth, but the Dolphins showcased their depth, as senior Luke Aragon (17:42) was their top finisher in 10th, but eighth-grader Matthew Moe (18:32), junior Henry Cizewski (18:43) and senior Jimmy Kuehler (18:45) all placed in the top 25 to buoy HHP.

1A BOYS
A trio of middle-schoolers finished in the top 10 to lead Cross Schools (53) to a runner-up finish, narrowly falling short of champion South Aiken Christian (48).
Seventh-grader Moss Leroux (18:17) finished fifth, eighth-graders Shiloh Hunter-David (18:51), Chase McDaniel (19:04), and Logan Greene (19:34) finished eighth, 10th, and 11th to lead the Stingrays.

3A GIRLS
HHCA placed fifth with 106 points as Greenwood Christian (48) ran away with the title with Thomas Sumter (69) edging Northside Christian (69) in a tiebreaker for second.
John Paul II did not field a full team but had a strong showing from junior Brady Mahoney, who finished 10th in 21:18. Brinkley Smith (22:23) and Anna Mossing (22:28) led HHCA in 19th and 20th.
