Patrick Henry at Beaufort Academy
Margaret Hiers scored the equalizer to force extra time and gave the Eagles the lead in the first overtime period, but the Patriots evened it at 2-2 with five seconds left in the second overtime and converted four penalties to BA’s two in a shootout.
May River at St. Vincent’s Academy
The Sharks couldn’t find the back of the net against a strong Saints team on the road, falling 3-0 for their third straight defeat.
Battery Creek at Bishop England
The Dolphins were no match for the Class 3A power Bishops, who peppered 38 shots (23 on goal) while limiting Creek to one shot on frame in an 11-0 rout. Alana Moore made 12 saves for the Dolphins (4-3, 1-2), who host Oceanside Collegiate for a region match Thursday at Whale Branch.
Beaufort High at Hilton Head High
An injury-riddled Eagles team kept it close in the first half, but the Seahawks blanked Beaufort after the break to claim a 5-2 win in Region 7-4A play. HHIHS (4-4, 2-2) continues region play at MRHS on Friday, while BHS (0-4, 0-3) travels to Lucy Beckham.
Colleton Prep at Beaufort Academy
Claire Tumlin scored a pair of goals, including a beautiful strike to the left-upper quadrant from 35 yards, and Kylie Archer tallied a goal as BA bounced back from a tough shootout loss to down the visiting War Hawks. BA (3-3, 2-1) is off until March 24, when the Eagles host HHCA.
May River at Berkeley
The Sharks snapped their three-game skid with a 5-3 road win over the Stags, as Abby White scored a brace, and Kylie Nelson, Zoe Stevenson, and Page Mullis each added a goal apiece. MRHS (5-3, 1-2) hosts Hilton Head High for a key Region 7-4A matchup at 7 p.m. Friday.
