Hilton Head High boys lacrosse bounced back from a tough loss to May River to hammer Beaufort High 13-1 on the road Thursday.
Brady Saba was the catalyst for the Seahawks’ attack, racking up six assists to go along with three goals, while Max Arnot paired two assists with his hat trick, and Sam Thibodeau also scored three times. Jackson Olander added two goals, Amare Ford and Bill Fielding each scored once, and Lucas Thibodeau had an assist.
Ford had a team-best eight groundballs as HHIHS limited the Eagles to 11 shots on goal with three Seahawks splitting time in goal. Gavin Dellinger played the bulk of the time, making five saves in 24 minutes without permitting a goal.
Grayson Bridges scored the Eagles’ lone goal off a feed from Anthony Migliorino, while Diego Martinez had a team-high nine groundballs and Donnie Lunardini added eight. Goalie Zach Jindrich made seven saves.
The Seahawks (4-2, 2-2) won 13-8 at Academic Magnet on Saturday — check LowcoSports.com later for a recap — and host Bluffton on Monday. Beaufort (2-4, 2-3) plays at James Island on Monday.
