May River girls lacrosse rallied from a halftime deficit to blank rival Bluffton in the second half and claim a 9-5 road win over the Bobcats on Thursday.

Lola Spires scored three goals and added two assists, and Corynn Psychoghios also had a hat trick to lead the way for the Sharks, who trailed by a goal at halftime before outscoring the Bobcats 5-0 in the second half.
Molly Salus and Alana Moore each had a goal and an assist for May River, while Harper Gray tallied a goal.
May River (5-2, 2-0) hosts Hilton Head High for a key region clash at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Bluffton (0-3, 0-2) travels to Beaufort High at 6 p.m. Monday.
