HS GLAX: Quick start spurs Seahawks to blowout of Trojans

Hilton Head High girls lacrosse bolted out of the gate for six goals in the first five minutes and rolled to a 15-3 home win over James Island on Thursday. 

The Seahawks scored the first nine goals of the game, prompting coach Kara Cooke to utilize her full roster, and seven different Seahawks tallied goals. Anna Ferrebee led the way with four goals, while Bailey Olive scored a hat trick, Maddie Massey and Ellie Christie each added a pair of goals, and Olivia Costello and Veronica Markowitz contributed one apiece. 

Elizabeth Homer scored two goals for James Island.

The Seahawks (2-1, 1-1) will be back in action at home Saturday against non-conference foe Phillip Simmons.
