Hilton Head Christian Academy girls basketball opened its quest for a fourth consecutive SCISA 2A title with a walkover Friday, splashing 10 3-pointers and routing Williamsburg Academy 73-21 at the Sumter Civic Center.


Abby Peduzzi scored 18 points, Tamya Hutchinson added 15, Jaida Grayson had 14, and Skylar Smith contributed 12 for HHCA, which racked up 31 points in the first quarter and led 52-11 at halftime before coasting to the easy win.
Devon Yarde added seven points for the Eagles (21-2), who will face Greenwood Christian (18-1) in the second round at 5 p.m. Monday in Sumter.
