HSGBB: HHCA spreads it around, sweeps past War Hawks

Hilton Head Christian Academy girls basketball breezed to another region win Friday, winning 59-15 at Colleton Prep.

The Eagles jumped out to a 19-2 lead after the first quarter and never looked back, cruising to the road victory.

Devon Yarde, Skylar Smith, and Tamya Hutchinson each scored nine points to lead a balanced effort from HHCA, which sat the starters for most of the night. Abby Peduzzi and Kenzie Buchter each added eight, and Hayleigh Hingtgen had seven.

HHCA (15-2, 5-0) will travel to second-place Beaufort Academy on Tuesday. CPA (2-12, 1-4) travels to Thomas Heyward on Tuesday.
