HSVB: Seahawks soar to easy road win over Eagles

Hilton Head High volleyball kept its flawless Region 7-4A mark intact on Monday, rolling past Beaufort High on the road in a three-set sweep.

The Seahawks stormed out of the blocks in the first two sets, crushing the Eagles 25-5 and 25-7 before taking a tighter third set 25-17. 

Ady O’ Grady led the charge, notching 10 kills to go with six digs. Ava Edri tallied seven kills while serving three aces, and Makenna Mason put up 30 assists alongside three aces and four digs. Allison Bracken, Leah Jackson, and Kenzie Ryan also delivered from the service line with a trio of aces apiece. 

Heaven Dagin excelled for the Eagles, earning three kills, two blocks, and two digs. Angel Johnson was excellent defensively, recording eight digs, while Kylie Rast and Jayla Daise each added an ace.

Hilton Head (9-2-1, 5-0) returns home for a non-region matchup Tuesday with Calvary Day. Beaufort (0-7, 0-4) hosts May River on Tuesday.
