Whitley Weathers tossed a two-hit shutout and added a grand slam while hitting for the cycle as Colleton County cruised to a 16-0 win at Beaufort High on Monday to remain undefeated in Region 7-4A.
Weathers struck out 12 and allowed just three baserunners, throwing 49 of her 64 pitches for strikes. She was also a monster at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a double, triple, and grand slam to finish with eight RBIs. Shandi Brown was 2-for-3 with an RBI and scored four runs for the Cougars.

Kylie Rast had a double and Nezi Chinchilla added a single for Beaufort. Rast struck out seven and allowed five earned runs on eight hits and six walks.
The Cougars host the Eagles to complete the series Wednesday.
