HS BLAX: Bobcats can’t find range vs. Trojans

Bluffton boys lacrosse couldn’t get its offense going against a strong James Island squad Monday, falling 15-2 at home to the Trojans.

The Bobcats found themselves trailing 6-0 after the first quarter and 10-0 at halftime and couldn’t close the gap.

Ben Ramsey scored two goals, and Chase Day and Jackson Skinner each had an assist for Bluffton. Jackson Reese made 17 saves to try to keep the Bobcats in it, stopping 53.1 percent of the shots on goal he faced.

The Bobcats (1-5, 1-4) host rival May River on Thursday.
