SCHSL WEEK 7
Allendale-Fairfax 26, Battery Creek 14: The Dolphins were derailed by turnovers and couldn’t climb out of a 20-0 hole.
Whale Branch 50, Estill 0: The Warriors rolled to another lopsided win to finish off the first perfect regular season in program history.
Colleton County 34, Hilton Head High 13: The Seahawks got off to a sluggish start and couldn’t recover against a hot Cougars squad.
SCISA FIRST ROUND
Thomas Heyward 70, Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach 8: The Rebels put up 48 points in the first quarter and rolled to their 10th consecutive victory to begin their quest for a third straight state title.
Hilton Head Christian 63, Spartanburg Christian 27: After a shootout in the first half, the Eagles shut out the Warriors in the second half to advance to a semifinal showdown with Pee Dee Academy.
Carolina Academy 36, Hilton Head Prep 7: The Dolphins missed a couple early scoring opportunities, and the Bobcats pulled away after halftime to end Hilton Head Prep’s season.
Pee Dee Academy 49, Beaufort Academy 28: BA held an early 16-15 lead before Pee Dee rattled off 27 consecutive points to end the Eagles’ first season in 11-man football.
