Bluffton’s girls rediscovered their offensive prowess, but visiting St. Mary’s rained in 12 3-pointers en route to an 81-63 win over the Bobcats on Saturday.
Tacoya Heyward poured in 29 points, and Tatyana Aiken added 18 to lead the Bobcats, who used their defensive pressure and ability to run the floor to jumpstart an offense that had been stymied in recent games.

Bluffton led 16-11 after one quarter, but the visiting Spartans from Massachusetts heated up from long range and surged to a 12-point halftime lead, then maintained a double-digit margin throughout the second half.
