Beaufort High’s girls couldn’t keep pace with visiting Summerville on Wednesday, losing 56-28 in their home opener.
Layla Warren scored 11 points, and Sequoia Smalls added seven to lead the Eagles.
Beaufort (0-2) hosts Battery Creek at 6 p.m. Friday.
