It’s getting to be the time of the year when a win is a win, and it means everything.
With so much on the line, it only seems appropriate that the players who led their teams to wins on Friday night should have a leg up in getting on the Week 9 RBC Heritage Player of the Week ballot.
And it just so happens that we have five area teams who picked up key W’s on Friday, and each of them has (at least) two deserving candidates.
We added two guys who made mammoth efforts in losing causes to round out an impressive list of candidates for the penultimate RBC Heritage Player of the Week award of the season.
Cast your vote before 3 p.m. Thursday to help our voting panel pick the winner.
The nominees are (in random order):

The Heritage Classic Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization, enhances the quality of life and economic vitality of our region by hosting the RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing, South Carolina’s only PGA TOUR golf tournament.
