The SCHSL girls soccer playoffs begin tonight with four local teams in action, while the boys playoffs will get underway Tuesday.
In the Class 4A girls bracket, Hilton Head High and Beaufort High will play first-round games Monday, while top-seeded Bluffton receives a first-round bye and awaits the Airport-Hartsville winner in Wednesday’s second round.
The Seahawks will host Aiken in the first round with the winner traveling to Myrtle Beach on Wednesday, while the Eagles will travel to Dreher with the winner earning a trip to South Aiken in the second round.
In Class 3A, May River wrapped up the No. 1 seed and will host Loris in Monday’s first round, while No. 3 seed Battery Creek will travel to Aynor on Monday.
In the Class 4A boys bracket, Beaufort High travels to Dreher in Tuesday’s first round with the winner advancing to face top-seeded North Augusta on Thursday. Hilton Head High opens at home against Aiken with the winner traveling to Myrtle Beach in the second round. Top-seeded Bluffton earned a first-round bye and will host either Brookland-Cayce or North Myrtle Beach on Thursday.
In Class 3A, top-seeded May River hosts Marion and Battery Creek travels to Lake City in the first round.
