Bluffton’s boys wrapped up the Region 7-4A title with a 3-2 win over Hilton Head High on Friday.
Davidson Alvarez scored two goals, and Uriel Zarracan added a goal and an assist to lead the Bobcats, who put up 21 shots, including nine on goal. Gabriel Guadagno and Hernan Gomez also registered assists.
The Seahawks scored both of their goals on penalties but were unable to convert a third, as Alejo Hornos made the biggest of his four saves.
The Bobcats (10-3, 5-0) begin the Palmetto Cup in Columbia on Monday, facing Ashley Ridge at 9 a.m. and A.C. Flora at 4 p.m.
