HS Soccer: Bobcats Shut Out Seahawks To Take Region Lead

Bluffton’s boys took the upper-hand in the chase for the Region 7-4A title with a convincing 6-0 win over visiting Hilton Head High on Tuesday. 

Uriel Zarracan scored his third hat trick of the season and added an assist to lead the Bobcats. Davidson Alvarez, Ramiro Garcia, and Bryce Robertson each added a goal, and Hernan Gomez, Isaac Florez, Edinson Alvarez, and Gabe Guadagno each had an assist.

Alejo Hornos made two saves in 60 minutes, and Jesus Garcia added two saves in 20 minutes to post the shutout for Bluffton.

The Bobcats (8-3, 3-0) host Colleton County at 7 p.m. Friday. The Seahawks (5-3, 2-1) travel to Glynn Academy (Ga.) at 6 p.m. Thursday.
