Bluffton’s boys suffered their first loss of the season Saturday, falling 4-1 to visiting Northwestern.
The score was tied at 1 at halftime before the Trojans scored on a free kick to take a 2-1 lead. Shortly after, the Bobcats had the first of two players sent off for a second yellow card. Bluffton was unable to capitalize on some opportunities to score the equalizer, and the Trojans took advantage of the two extra players to tack on two late goals.
Bluffton (2-1-0) travels to Battery Creek on Friday.
