Hilton Head Prep’s boys, Hilton Head Christian Academy’s girls, and Beaufort Academy’s girls all were awarded No. 1 seeds, and five other area teams will join them in the SCISA state tournaments beginning Friday and Saturday.
HHP’s boys take a 21-game winning streak and a No. 1 seed into the 2A state tournament and will open against The King’s Academy at 1 p.m. Saturday at Porter-Gaud in Charleston.
Also in the 2A bracket, HHCA is a No. 3 seed and faces Pee Dee Academy at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Sumter Civic Center, and John Paul II is a No. 3 seed and faces Spartanburg Day at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Heathwood Hall in Columbia.
In the 1A bracket, BA’s boys are a No. 2 seed and open against South Aiken Baptist at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Porter-Gaud.
HHCA’s girls are the No. 1 seed in its bracket and open their quest for a SCISA 2A state championship against Calhoun Academy at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Sumter Civic Center.
Also in the 2A bracket, JPII is a No. 2 seed and faces Robert E. Lee at 8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Hall, and HHP is a No. 3 seed and takes on Thomas Sumter at 8 p.m. Friday at Sumter Civic Center.
BA is the top seed in its pod in the 1A bracket and will face Holly Hill Academy at 5 p.m. Friday at Wilson Hall.
